QUARANTINE DEFINITION
The definition of quarantine is... A state, period, or place of isolation in which people or animals that have been exposed to infectious or contagious disease are placed.
1. EI is a very common disease that is very contagious to horses it is a type of Flu that causes the horse to lose its appetite a very high temperature and a harsh dry cough if the horse went into quarantine it would be in there within the period of 7-10 days depending on how viral the disease is!
2. EVA is a disease to horses that causes their face and legs to puff up. It cannot kill the animal but leaves it in a world of pain. The quarantine period for this desease is up to 20-30 days!
3. OLWS is a very bad desease that causes when a baby foal is born it will die within hours... The shouldn't go in quarantine because they won't be able to survive.
MY OPINION
My personal opinion is that all animals should be put in quarantine for up to around 30 days because it would give a good recovering period besides from if the animal is really sick!
MINECRAFT
Agriculture in 5/6A has been quit successful, we (Mayer Esta and I) are halfway through our quarantine station and Cohen and max have completed their farm/quarantine zone. In the girls quarantine station there are rooms made of glass where the animals will be kept.... Each animal has their own room and space. Aquatic animals will also be kept in the same quarantine zone but instead of them being ascattered all over the place they will be in a row of rooms so all of that row has water..
For the boys quarantine/farming zoen it has fences with animals and a fare amount of quarantine space so if a animal is sick in the farming areas it can go to THAT quarantine zone. Mayer and I have taken screen shots of our quarantine zone getting built but we couldn't put them up. Each session I set goals for myself to achieve... This week it was to complete the roofing and make sure that there is NO WAY a animal could escape and if I don't complete that goal I carry on with it the next time I am on minecraft.
THINGS AGRICULTURE HAVE DONE EACH WEEK!
4th Dec. The girls quarantine station is under way we have put in cows,squids and a different type of cow in their rooms. We started to put the roof down and make sure that it is safe for the animals and will not fade away (like our last one did) Esta and I were redoing some of the walls and refilling them. The roof is almost at half way. I don't know what the boys have done but im sure they have done a great job!
5th Dec. The girls and I realized that we had forgotten the doors so we couldn't get to and from the animals so we had to clear all of the bottom and had to restart the whole bottom level.... We complted the roof and it looks amazing.
6th Dec. We have completed and fixed the bottom level and replaced the rooms with fences so it is easier to access I have started on the 2nd level and put in the fences but we need to put in steps from the bottom level leading into the 2nd level!
Dec. I have completed putting the fences up on the second floor and im on my way making a glass roof I also put a ladder in from the bottom of the bottom level so we don't need to make holes in the roof every time to get down.
THINGS WE HAVE LEARNT AS THE 5/6A AGRICULTURE GROUP
. Maya and i found out that squids could fly so make sure that they have a roof before you put the egg in!!
. Pigs and Cows can jump 1 block so make sure that you have at least a 4 block high room otherwise they will jump out.
. Chickens can jump about 2 blocks high.
. If you want to have a roof made of any type of leave it has to have an underlay of wood otherwise it will deteriorate like our old roof did.
THINGS WE REALLY NEED TO LEARN /IMPROVE /CONCENTRATE ON
I think that Agriculture needs to concentrate on is....
Where we place our BLOCKS because sometimes we end up with blocks that are in the middle of the ground!
We also need to make sure that when we are trying to kill animals to get rid of them to make sure NOT to take chunks out of the ground.
We really really need to concentrate on where and how we place our blocks and make sure that we put in doors!!
We definetly need to concentrate on putting doors in our buildings!
I think that Agriculture needs to learn how to...
how to Get rid of things
How to control things EG how to move around properly or how to turn certain things on or off.
I know that our OPS are there to help us but instead of bothering them all the time. That if you press T you can freely ask questions to everyone else thats playing because I have done that a number of times and I have got the answer that I need.
I think Agriculture needs to spend more time building and less time looking at other peoples houses

I think that Agriculture needs to improve on....
I think Agriculture needs to improve on being more fast and sufficient then always deciding where to put a block or which animal to produce.
I also think that we need to improve on talking to each other because some of the time we are just building and not discussing what we are going to do next.
I know that we get less work done by deciding things that we aren't really up to yet......
Most of these things are involving the girl group but about 2 things are also involving the boys. Every week im going to be adding more things so keep on checking up on this page.
